Brando, Newman dubber narrates Persian translation of Quran

TEHRAN -- Veteran Iranian dubber Changiz Jalilvand, who is most famous for imitating the voices of Marlon Brando and Paul Newman, has narrated a Persian translation of the Holy Quran on a CD to promote reading of the Holy Book.
The early version of the CD, entitled “The Miracle,” which lacked the Persian translation, was selected as one of the best productions at the 13th International Holy Quran Exhibition in Tehran in 2006.The new version contains the recitation of Saad al-Ghamdi from Saudi Arabia and the Persian translation, which has been narrated by Jalilvand. Some parts of the translation have also been read by Fariba Ramezanpur, another Iranian dubber.
This new version will go on sale at the 17th International Holy Quran Exhibition, which is scheduled to be held at the Imam Khomeini Mosalla in Tehran from August 16 to September 14.
Jalilvand has voiced Burt Lancaster, Richard Burton, Bruce Willis, Ed Harris and some Iranian actors including Behruz Vosuqi, Mohammad-Ali Fardin, and Nasser Malak-Motiei.
